Kadri Kõusaars media debut started at the age of thirteen, writing and drawing cartoons and comic strips for newspapers. She has since published numerous film, literature and music-related articles, as well as bestselling novels Ego (2001), Free Rise (2004) and Alpha (2011) in Estonia. She has also worked as a radio-DJ and TV-host, and has a university degree in Spanish language and literature. Her debut feature Magnus (2007) was the first Estonian film ever included at the official selection of Cannes Film Festival (Un Certain Regard). Kadris second feature The Arbiter will be released in winter 2012.
Maximiliano Schonfeld was born in 1982, in Crespo, Entre Ríos (Argentina). He is a graduate from ENERC Film School. Schonfeld has directed three short films; Esnorquel, Entreluces and Invernario. Germania, his first feature film, premiered at International Competition 14º BAFICI, winning Special Jury Award and the Feisal Award. Moreover, he has written and directed eight chapters of the TV Series ANDER EGG, winner of the INCAA TV contest. He is currently preparing his second feature The Black Frost (La Helada negra), and his second TV Series EL LOBO.
