Inspired by real events, "Auster" tracks the crazy and difficult road trip in a harsh Patagonian desert. Ricardo and Maria are school mates who casually meet again after fifteen years. Ricardo promises to take Maria (who has just lost her job) to a family who needs a housekeeper, but the house (and the job) never appear. Then he confesses that he is in love with her and will go out of his way to prove that he is the right man for her. Where are the limits of your desire? Can you convert another person? These are the questions asked in this hypnotic, visually stunning feature.
