I WAS HERE
“What makes an interesting life?” In a series of castings throughout the UK people from all walks of life pitch their lives and stories to camera. On a journey throughout the United Kingdom locals from towns, villages and cities are invited to take part in a casting for a documentary character. They dig into their lives to evoke a moment or episode they believe is worthy of being immortalised on film, through interview and reenactment. As each individual exposes himself, the audience questions our perception of an interesting life, the role of the media and our basic, human instinct to leave a trace of ourselves for the sake of posterity.
